I had taken several lessons with one of the big driving schools, but really felt like I wasn’t making progress, he seemed to be holding me back, so I decided to look elsewhere. As soon as I contacted Lynn she arranged to come and meet me and my Mum which I was impressed with, as it meant I got a chance to meet her before I booked up.
The first lesson Lynn seemed to be assessing my standard and knowledge of different manoeuvres, and then the next lesson we started working on roundabouts. Immediately I felt I was making progress, the lessons were always very focussed, you can tell Lynn is really keen on awareness and safety, but we also had a laugh. I immediately felt that Lynn was working at a pace that was right for me. She always asked what I felt I should be working on, which made me think a bit more about how I was doing, and encouraged me to work on my theory between lessons – to prepare for the theory test and also to help me understand more when we were driving.
Because I didn’t have chance to practise I had regular weekly lessons, Lynn was always on time. When I booked my test we planned several lessons during the week of the test so that I was fully prepared and felt confident. I really enjoyed the lessons with Lynn, it was fun, but she also helped me understand the dangers – keeping an eye out for the “what ifs”.
Thanks Lynn, see you out there!”
